OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated October 12, 2001, pursuant to
Section 61 of
Chapter 208 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Hospitals Act, is pleased to: (
a) reappoint Dr. Alistair Munro of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Review Board for all facilities under the said Act for a term of office of three years commencing November 1, 2001 and ending October 30, 2004; and (
b) determine that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Dr. Alistair Munro and indemnify him from personal liability provided, however, the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to the appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and provided that the Province will be in control of a case which it defends.
