OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated February 1, 2018, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to approve the Attorney General and Minister of Justice: (

a) entering into an Agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, as represented by the Canada Border Services Agency, respecting the detention of persons in provincial correctional facilities pursuant to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act , substantially in the form set out in

Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

b) do such things and execute such documents as may be necessary to give effect to this Order.
