CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Wildlife Act (Assented to June 1, 1984) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Wildlife Amendment Act, 1984. 1979, c.W-13.1 The Wildlife Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section amended

Section is amended by striking out “and that the wildlife was lawfully hunted, procured, kept or disposed of”.

Section amended 6(1)

Section is amended by striking out “Subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, the minister may make regulations and orders” and substituting “The Lieutenant Governor in Council may make regulations”.

(2) Clause 63(

e) is repealed.

(3) Section is amended by renumbering it as subsection (1) and adding the following subsection: “

(2) The minister may make regulations: (

a) defining and declaring open seasons during which and areas within which a person may hunt certain wildlife; (

b) prescribing a maximum number of wildlife that may be hunted in any area during an open season; (
