Order in Council 1386/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to clause 10 (

a) of the Education Act , the Minister of Education established and appointed the Curriculum Council to provide high-level, strategic policy advice to the Minister on specific issues concerning elementary and secondary curriculum;

And

whereas Order in Council O.C. 1349/2016, dated September 14, 2016, established remuneration for the Chair of the Curriculum Council at a per diem of Two Hundred and Twenty-five dollars ($225.00) for each day that the Chair spends on the business of the Curriculum Council;

And

whereas Treasury Board / Management Board of Cabinet approved dissolution of the Curriculum Council;

Now therefore Order in Council O.C. 1349/2016 is revoked, effective the date of this Order in Council.
