B.C. Reg. 25/2014 , deposited March 3, 2014, under the ADULT GUARDIANSHIP AND PLANNING STATUTES AMENDMENT ACT, 2007 [section 112]. Order in Council 83/2014, approved and ordered February 28, 2014.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) B.C. Reg. 131/2013 is repealed, and

(

b) effective December 1, 2014, the provisions set out in the attached

Schedule are brought into force.

Schedule

1 The following sections of the Adult Guardianship and Planning Statutes Amendment Act, 2007 , S.B.C. 2007, c. 34, are brought into force:

(

a) section 1 (c);

(

b) section 1 (

k) as it enacts the

definitions of “health authority designate” , “health care provider” , “qualified health care provider” and “statutory property guardian” in

section 1 of the Adult Guardianship Act ;

(

c) section 4 as it repeals and replaces

Part 2 and enacts

Part 2.1 of the Adult Guardianship Act in the Supplement to that Act;

(

d) section 17 as it repeals and replaces

section 62 of the Adult Guardianship Act ;

(

e) section 17 as it enacts sections 62.1, 62.3 and 63 (2) (

a) to (f), (

o) to (

p) and (

s) of the Adult Guardianship Act .

2 The heading to

Part 2.1 and sections 32, 33 (2) (

b) and (3), 34, 35 and 37 (3) and (4) of the Adult Guardianship Act as enacted by

section 4 of the Adult Guardianship and Planning Statutes Amendment Act, 2007 , S.B.C. 2007, c. 34, and set out in the Supplement to the Adult Guardianship Act , are brought into force.
