OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture dated January 10, 2024, and pursuant to Sections 25, 26, and 27 of
Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1996, the Fisheries and Coastal Resources Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Neil LeBlanc of Plymouth, Yarmouth County, as a member of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board, and designate him as Chair, for a term of three (3) years commencing February 8, 2024; (
b) determine that Neil LeBlanc be remunerated for his service as member and Chair in the amount of $150 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling his duties provided any such reimbursement does not exceed that normally payable to members of the civil service; (
c) reappoint Nathan Boudreau of Arichat, Richmond County, as a member of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board for a term of two (2) years commencing February 8, 2024; and (
d) determine that Nathan Boudreau be remunerated for his service as a member in the amount of $100.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling his duties provided any such reimbursement does not exceed that normally payable to members of the civil service.
