Order in Council 1342/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve His Majesty's Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Mario Di Tommaso

be appointed Deputy Solicitor General, Community Safety, Ministry of the Solicitor General, effective October 22, 2024, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years from the effective date of this appointment;

And as Deputy Solicitor General, Community Safety, Ministry of the Solicitor General, Mario Di Tommaso is also appointed Deputy Solicitor General pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Ministry of the Solicitor General Act , to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term concurrent with his appointment as Deputy Solicitor General, Community Safety, Ministry of the Solicitor General;

And Mario Di Tommaso shall exercise the powers and perform the duties of the Deputy Solicitor General under the Ministry of the Solicitor General Act in the name of the Deputy Solicitor General, Community Safety, Ministry of the Solicitor General.
