Bryant's Cove Municipal Planning Area

under the

Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000

Under the authority of

section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000

, I define the following area as the Bryant's Cove Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point on the eastern shoreline of Green Head

having coordinates north 5,280,325 metres and east 290,488 metres, more or less;

Thence

heading in a northwesterly direction to a spot elevation of 62 metres, having coordinates north 5,280,416 metres and east 290,322 metres, more or less;

Thence

heading in a northwesterly direction to a point on the centre line

of Bryant's Cove Road

having coordinates north 5,280,655 metres and east 289,923 metres, more or less;

Thence

heading in a northwesterly direction to the north east outlet of Bryant's Cove Pond

having coordinates north 5,280,825 metres and east 289,106 metres, more or less;

Thence

heading in a northwesterly direction to horizontal control monument No. 93170

having coordinates north 5,281,465 metres and east 288,588 metres, more or less;

Thence

heading in a northwesterly direction to the centre line of an abandoned road known traditionally as Long Run Path

having coordinates north 5,281,540 metres and east 288,527 metres, more or less;

Thence

running in a generally northeasterly

direction along the centre line of Long Run Path to the northeastern extremity of Feather Point;

Thence

running in a general southwesterly direction along the sinuosities

of the shorelines high-water mark to where the outflow of Hunts Gully empties into

Bryant's Cove;

Thence

running in a general easterly direction along sinuosities

of the shoreline to the eastern extremity of Spare Point;

Thence

running in a southwesterly direction along sinuosities

of the shoreline passing Hawks Nest, and Deep Water Point to the point of beginning.

All coordinates being scaled from 50cm Orthorectified

Imagery and being referenced to the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83) and Modified Transverse Mercator Zone 1 Projection.
