OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated February 23, 2012, and pursuant to

Section 34 of

Chapter 31 of the Acts of 2004, the Police Act, and

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the Minister of Justice to enter into an agreement with the Government of Canada to have the RCMP provide enhanced police services at the Halifax International Airport in the form set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject to such minor modifications as the Minister determines necessary; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Justice to enter into an agreement with the Halifax International Airport Authority for the provision of policing services by the RCMP at the Halifax International Airport in the form set out in

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject to such minor modifications as the Minister determines necessary.
