OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated February 28, 2002, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to purchase on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia, a parcel of land containing approximately 700 acres+ situated at Cape Split, Kings County, from Annapolis Group Inc., its heirs, executors, successors or assigns for the purchase price of $5,000,000, the land being more fully shown outlined in red on

Schedule "A" and more particularly described in

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to prepare and have executed such documents as may be required to achieve the purpose of this Order.
