Order in Council 1050/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to paragraph 119(1)(

r) of the Youth Criminal Justice Act , S.C. 2002, c.1, ( YCJA ) as may be amended, a record of a finding of guilt under the YCJA kept under

section 115 of the Act, may be made available to an entity to whom a person is required, under O. Reg. 155/18 under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017 , S.O. 2017, c. 14, Sched. 1 or O. Reg. 200/99 under the Intercountry Adoption Act, 1998 , S.O. 1998, c. 29, to provide a police record check, within the meaning of O. Reg. 155/18 or O. Reg. 200/99, as the case may be.
