BILL FRASER BILL Competitive Appointments Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: 1 The appointment of all Deputy Heads, Chairs, Presi- dents and Chief Executive Officers of Crown corpora- tions, agencies, boards and commissions shall be based on merit, shall be free from favouritism and shall be made following an open competition or other process of person- nel selection designed to establish the merit of the candi- dates. Loi sur les nominations par concours Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement de l’As- semblée législative du Nouveau-Brunswick, édicte : 1 La nomination de tous les administrateurs généraux, présidents et premiers dirigeants de l’ensemble des corpo- rations de la Couronne, organismes, conseils et commis- sions se font au mérite, sans favoritisme et par concours ou quelque autre mode de sélection du personnel conçu pour évaluer le mérite des candidats.
