OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 6, 2025, and pursuant to clause 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) acquire land being approximately 81 hectares (200 acres) located at Conrod Settlement, Halifax County, currently identified as PID 00616219 as shown outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, from Gregory Allan Gilroy and Deanna Joan Leopold or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators or approved successors or assigns for the purchase price of $260,000.00 (plus HST as applicable), subject to the condition that Gregory Allan Gilroy and Deanna Joan Leopold or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators or approved successors or assigns are able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
