OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy dated January 15, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and such other authority vested in the Minister, is pleased to: (

a) approve an exchange program for people from Venezuela to attend Nova Scotia universities/colleges to take technical and management training in the petroleum industry; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Energy or the Minister's designate to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with PDVSA Petroleo, S.A., an affiliate of Petroleos de Venezuela, set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, or one to like effect.
