OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated March 24, 2022, and pursuant to
Section 4 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective March 24, 2022, to direct that all affairs and matters pertaining to: (
a) the recommendation of appointments under
Section 17 of the Fish Harvester Organization Support Act ; and (
b) the appointment of inspectors and the issuance of identification cards under Sections 15 and 16 of the Fisheries and Coastal Resources Act , saving and excepting inspector appointments and the issuance of identification cards for veterinarians or aquaculture management specialists employed by the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture, which were assigned from the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture or the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture to the Department of Environment and Climate Change or the Minister of Environment and Climate Change pursuant to Order in Council 2016-230 dated September 27, 2016, are assigned to the Department of Natural Resources and Renewables or the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables.
