OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated November 1, 2004, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve the issuance of a grant or deed by the Minister of Natural Resources to convey approximately 200.8 hectares of Crown land at Kaizer Meadow, Lunenburg County, shown as Parcel "A", outlined in red, and Parcel "B", outlined in blue, on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, to the Municipality of the District of Chester, a body corporate with its head office at Chester, Lunenburg County; (

b) approve the granting of a right of way with respect to Crown land at Kaizer Meadow, Lunenburg County, shown outlined in pink on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, by the Minister of Natural Resources, to the Municipality of the District of Chester; (

c) approve the acquisition of a parcel or parcels of land at Kaizer Meadow, Lunenburg County, shown outlined in yellow on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, by the Minister of Natural Resources, from the Municipality of the District of Chester, together with any required rights of way with respect to lands owned by, or under conveyance to, the Municipality of the District of Chester, all in exchange for the Crown land and right of way with respect to Crown land referred to in paragraphs (

a) and (b); (

d) rescind Order in Council 92-1220 dated December 15, 1992, for the issuance of a lease and right of way with respect to Crown land; (

e) amend Order in Council 97-408 dated June 24, 1997, for the conveyance of Crown land by striking out "319" and replacing it with "174" and by striking out "Municipality of Chester Lease No. 3884 Kaiser Meadow, Lunenburg County 203.34 acres (+)"; (

f) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
