OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 12, 2008, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and
Section 2 of
Chapter 14 of the Acts of 2007, the Undersea Coal Mines Regulation Act, and such other authority vested in the Ministers, is pleased to: (
a) approve the Royalty Collection and Administration Agreement respecting the Exploitation of the Donkin Coal Block set forth in
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (
b) authorize the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Natural Resources to execute the Royalty Collection and Administration Agreement respecting the Exploitation of the Donkin Coal Block, or one to like effect.
