Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated November 18, 2025, and pursuant to

Section 15 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2017, the Accessibility Act , and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to: (

a) revoke the designation of Ellen Johnson of Lunenburg County as Vice-chair of the Accessibility Advisory Board made by Order in Council 2024-40 dated February 8, 2024; (

b) designate Ellen Johnson of Lunenburg County as Chair of the Accessibility Advisory Board for the remainder of Ellen Johnson’s term expiring February 7, 2027, effective November 27, 2025; and (

c) designate Rob Patey of Queens County as Vice-chair of the Accessibility Advisory Board for the remainder of Rob Patey’s term expiring August 7, 2027, effective November 27, 2025.
