Schedule “A” Fall River Healthcare Facility Area

Whereas healthcare facilities in the Halifax Regional Municipality are urgently required for the

purpose of meeting the healthcare needs of the residents of the Province;

And

whereas a healthcare facility has been proposed at 3061 Highway 2, Fall River, which will

be developed faster and more efficiently with the designation of a healthcare facility area;

Therefore , I order the following:

1. A proposed healthcare facility is urgently required for the purpose of

Section 229C of the

Halifax Regional Municipality Charter .

2. The area of the Halifax Regional Municipality located at 3061 Highway 2, Fall River,

identified by Parcel Identification Number 00504159, is designated as a healthcare

facility area.

3. The healthcare facility area may be referred to as the “Fall River Healthcare Facility

Area.”

4. The Fall River Healthcare Facility Area is designated for the purpose of building and

operating a healthcare facility, which must be substantially consistent with the drawings,

plans and details attached as

Schedule “A” to this order.

This Order is effective on and after the date it is filed with the Registrar of Regulations.
