Schedule “A”

O.I.C. 2019-259

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and

Forestry dated August 8, 2018, and pursuant to

Section 8 of

Chapter 367 of the Revised Statutes

of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Parks Act , is pleased, effective on and after September 30,

2019, to

(

a) designate approximately 450 hectares (1111.95 acres) of Crown lands shown outlined in

bold and shaded dark grey on the plan marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming

part of the report and recommendation as a provincial park, and declare that it be known

as Cape Split Provincial Park; and

(

b) authorize the Minister of Lands and Forestry to execute such documents as may be

necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
