OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forestry dated September 10, 2020, and pursuant to clauses 8(
a) and (
d) of
Chapter 367 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Parks Act , is pleased, effective October 13, 2020, to: (
a) designate approximately 722.3 hectares (1784.81 acres) of Crown lands shown outlined in bold and shaded dark grey on the plan marked
Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation as a provincial park, and declare that it be known as Barra Forest and MacNeils Vale Provincial Park; and (
b) authorize the Minister of Lands and Forestry to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this order.
