OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture dated December 23, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and pursuant to

Section 13 of

Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1996, the Fisheries and Coastal Resources Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Canada with respect to coastal and ocean management in Nova Scotia, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the agreement and such additional operational agreements and appendices as are necessary to implement the agreement.
