Statute: Public Service Act Insurance Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated March 10, 2009, pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and

Section 3 of

Chapter 231 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Insurance Act, is pleased, effective March 10, 2009, to: (

a) assign responsibility for the Insurance Act to the Honourable Jamie Muir, a Member of the Executive Council, who may be described as the Minister responsible for the Insurance Act; and (

b) direct that, for administration purposes, all affairs and matters relating to the Insurance Act be attached to the Department of Finance.
