CHAPTER 68 (SUPP.)

An act to amend The Senior Citizens Home Repair Assistance Act.

Short title This Act may be cited as The Senior Citizens Home Repair Assistance Amendment Act. R.S.S. 1978, c.68 (Supp.), s.1. Rev. Stat. c.S-47,

section amended Subsections 3(1) and (2) of The Senior Citizens Home Repair Assistance Act are repealed and the following is substituted: “

(1) The minister may make one or more grants to an applicant every five years, in respect of the cost of repair to an eligible residence, in accordance with the

schedule of grants approved by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, notwithstanding that the applicant has received a grant or grants prior to September 1, 1978. “

(2) The total of the amounts of all grants made under subsection (1) to an applicant in each five-year period shall not exceed $650 or the amount prescribed in the
