Order in Council 272/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council 224/2026 , the position of Special Advisor, Ontario Military Defence Representative is established for a period commencing on the date of first appointment to this position by the Lieutenant Governor in Counci l and ending no later than May 14, 2028;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario to provide for the appointment of advisors to serve His Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Bernard Derible of Vaughan

is hereby appointed as Special Advisor, Ontario Military Defence Representative to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period commencing on the date this Order in Council is made and ending no later than May 14, 2028.
