OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated February 3, 2005, pursuant to Sections 7 and 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to: (

a) subject to the terms and conditions outlined in paragraph (b), convey by deed or grant a lot of Crown land, shown outlined in green on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, containing 59+ hectares (146+ acres) situate at Rockypoint and Birch Lakes, Digby County, together with a right of way to a maximum width of 10 metres over adjoining lands of the Department of Natural Resources, to West River Sportsmans Trust, its successors, administrators and assigns; (

b) in exchange for the Crown land noted in paragraph (a), accept from West River Sportsmans Trust, its successors, administrators and assigns, a parcel of land shown outlined in red on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, containing 24.3+ hectares (60+ acres) situate at West River, Digby County, subject to the condition that West River Sportsmans Trust, its successors, administrators or assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

c) prepare and have executed such documents as may be required to achieve the purpose of this Order.
