B.C. Reg. 193/2018 , deposited October 1, 2018, under the OFFENCE ACT [section 132], the PARK ACT [section 29] and the STATUTE REVISION ACT [section 5]. Order in Council 500/2018, approved and ordered October 1, 2018.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective October 1, 2018,

(

a) the Trespass Act , R.S.B.C. 2018, c. 3, is brought into force as a limited revision under the Statute Revision Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 440,

(

b) the Violation Ticket Administration and Fines Regulation, B.C. Reg. 89/97, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 1, and

(

c) the Park Conservancy and Recreation Area Regulation, B.C. Reg. 180/90, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule 2.

Offence Act

1 The Violation Ticket Administration and Fines Regulation, B.C. Reg. 89/97, is amended in

Schedule 2, under the heading “ Trespass Act ”

(

a) by striking out “

section 4 (1) ” and substituting “

section 2 (1) ”,

(

b) by striking out “

section 4 (3) (

c) or (d) ” and substituting “

section 2 (3) (

c) or (d) ”,

(

c) by striking out “

section 5 (7) ” and substituting “

section 5 (2) ”,

(

d) by striking out “

section 8 (2) ” and substituting “

section 6 (2) ”, and

(

e) by striking out “

section 8 (3) ” and substituting “

section 6 (3) ”.

Schedule 2

Park Act

Section 56 (

g) of the Park Conservancy and Recreation Area Regulation, B.C. Reg. 180/90, is amended by striking out “ sections 4, 5 and 8 ” and substituting “ sections 2, 4, 5 and 6 ”.
