OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables, dated November 1, 2023, and pursuant to clause 16(1)(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) issuing a lease for the purpose of wind energy development to Mersey River Wind Inc., a company with its registered office at Halifax, Halifax County, its successors, trustees, and permitted assigns for Crown lands currently identified as portions of PIDs 70247192, 70247184, 70247200, 70260575, 70264213, 70247168, 70032982, 70247176, and 70247218 containing approximately 72 hectares (180 acres), as shown outlined in bold on the plan marked

Schedule “A” which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
