OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Heritage dated June 29, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 5 of

Chapter 425 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Sherbrooke Restoration Commission Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Sherbrooke Restoration Commission for a term of three years commencing August 4, 2010: (

i) Darrell Harris of Fall River, Halifax Regional Municipality; (ii) John R. Grant of Antigonish, Antigonish County; and (iii) David Runnalls of Antigonish, Antigonish County; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Darrell Harris, John R. Grant, and David Runnalls and indemnify them from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointments, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
