Order in Council 1795/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas , on the recommendation of the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care under subsection 9(1) of the Public Hospitals Act , the Lieutenant Governor in Council intends to appoint, by Order in Council, a hospital supervisor for the Brant Community Healthcare System (the “Supervisor”);

And

Whereas the Order in Council provides that the Supervisor shall be paid such remuneration and expenses as the Lieutenant Governor in Council may determine;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006 :

The person appointed as Supervisor shall be remunerated at the rate of $2,000 per day, based on a 7.25 hour day.

The number of days for which the Supervisor may be remunerated under this Order shall not exceed a total of 250 days.

The person appointed as Supervisor shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses that are incurred while carrying out the duties of that position in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
