Order in Council 1027/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council established the position of Special Advisor on the Long-Term Financial Sustainability of Laurentian University by Order in Council 88/2021;

And

whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council appointed Alan Harrison as the Special Advisor by Order in Council 90/2021 and reappointed him by Order in Council 551/2021;

And

whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council has extended the Special Advisor position for a period not extending beyond December 31, 2021, and considers it advisable to reappoint Alan Harrison as the Special Advisor;

Therefore , pursuant to

section 4 of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act,

Alan Harrison of Oakville

be reappointed as the Special Advisor on the Long-Term Financial Sustainability of Laurentian University to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not extending beyond December 31, 2021, effective the date this Order in Council is made.
