Order in Council 804/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 2(2), 5(1) and 8(1) of the Executive Council Act , and despite any provision of a statute or Order in Council:

The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming shall exercise the powers and perform the duties, functions and responsibilities under the following statutes, and the responsibility for the administration of the following statutes is assigned and transferred from the Minister of Infrastructure to the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming: Centennial Centre of Science and Technology Act ; Ontario Place Corporation Act ; Ontario Place Corporation Repeal Act, 2018 ; and Rebuilding Ontario Place Act, 2023 .

Further , this Order in Council shall be effective on June 24, 2025;

And further , Order in Council O.C. 1176/2024 dated August 29, 2024, and Order in Council O.C. 440/2025 dated April 17, 2025, are hereby amended and shall be interpreted accordingly.
