Order in Council 795/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas there is vested in Her Majesty the Queen, in right of the Province of Ontario and under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, a portion of closed highway situate, lying and being in the Town of the Blue Mountains, County of Grey, in the Province of Ontario, being,

Part of Lots 12 to 38, inclusive, Registered Plan 320 and Part of Lot 24, Concession 3, in the Geographic Township of Collingwood, Town of the Blue Mountains, shown as

Part 1 on Plan 16R-10594 (Ministry of Transportation Plan P-1671-175), being part of P.I.N. # 37145-0136 (LT) .

And

whereas the lands are no longer required for a purpose of the Ministry of Transportation and it is deemed expedient that the jurisdiction and control be placed under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, who has agreed to accept the jurisdiction and control thereof;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 2 (2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

Chapter P.50, as amended, and subsection 5(1) of the Executive Council Act , R.S.O. 1990,

Chapter E. 25, as amended, the jurisdiction and control of the above lands is hereby placed under the control of the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry.
