B.C. Reg. 312/2001, deposited December 20, 2001, pursuant to the PHARMACISTS, PHARMACY OPERATIONS AND DRUG SCHEDULING ACT [Section 64]. Order in Council 1092/2001, approved and ordered December 14, 2001.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the amendments to the Drug Schedules as set out in the attached Resolutions of the Council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia dated June 22, 2001, and September 14, 2001, are hereby approved. — S. Resolution of the Council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia ("the Council"), made at Vancouver, British Columbia, the 22nd day of June 2001.

RESOLVED THAT:

In accordance with the authority established in

Section 64 of the Pharmacists, Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 363 of British Columbia, the Council amends the Drug Schedules Regulation as set out in the attached schedule, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council. — Certified a true copy, L. J. LYTLE, B.Sc. (Phr.), R. Ph., CAE, Registrar.

Schedule

That, effective immediately, the Drug Schedules Regulation be amended by the deletion of:

Schedule 1A (Triplicate/Duplicate Prescription Program)

Drugs which may be sold by a pharmacist to a practitioner or on the prescription of a practitioner in accordance with

Section B-19 (16) of the bylaws to the Pharmacists, Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act.

And the addition of:

Schedule 1A (Triplicate/Duplicate Prescription Program)

Drugs which may be sold by a pharmacist to a practitioner or on the prescription of a practitioner in accordance with Bylaw 5 (31) (6) of the bylaws to the Pharmacists, Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act.

Resolution of the Council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia ("the Council"), made at Vancouver, British Columbia, the 14th day of September 2001.

RESOLVED THAT:

In accordance with the authority established in

3 Hydrocortisone (as a single ingredient in topical preparations in concentrations of 0.5% or less)

1 Hydrocortisone (as a single ingredient in topical preparations in concentrations greater than 0.5%) v

3 Hydrocortisone acetate (as a single ingredient in topical preparations in concentrations of 0.5% or less)

1 Hydrocortisone acetate (as a single ingredient in topical preparations in concentrations greater than 0.5%) v

And the addition of:

3 Hydrocortisone (as a single ingredient in topical preparations in concentrations of 0.5% or less)

1 Hydrocortisone v (except as a single ingredient in topical preparations in concentrations of 0.5% or less)

3 Hydrocortisone acetate (as a single ingredient in topical preparations in concentrations of 0.5% or less)

1 Hydrocortisone acetate v (except as a single ingredient in topical preparations in concentrations of 0.5% or less)

Prescription not required if sold for veterinary use, provided that the product is labelled by the manufacturer "for agricultural use only" or "for veterinary use only."
