OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated January 7, 2026, and pursuant to Sections 9 and 10 of
Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act , is pleased to approve the expropriation by His Majesty the King in Right of the Province of Nova Scotia of PIDs 41075458, 00360404, 00360396, 00360388, 00360362, and LOT “UG -1A” located at or near Mill Cove, Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia, being more particularly described in
Schedule “A” and shown on the plans marked
Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, the expropriation being for the public purpose of the lands located at or near Mill Cove, Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia required for the Mill Cove Ferry Services & CN Overpass Project.
