OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Sydney Steel Corporation Act dated May 11, 2023, and pursuant to Sections 8 and 11 of
Chapter 456 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Sydney Steel Corporation Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint David James Benoit of Halifax Regional Municipality (Hammonds Plains) as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Sydney Steel Corporation for a term of two (2) years commencing June 6, 2023; and (
b) re-appoint Diane Saurette of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as a Director of the Board of Directors of the Sydney Steel Corporation for a term of two (2) years commencing June 6, 2023.
