OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated November 29, 2006, and pursuant to

Section 4B of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act,

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, and

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, and all other authority in her vested, is pleased to, effective December 4, 2006: (

a) appoint Lewis MacKinnon as Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Gaelic Affairs; (

b) designate Lewis MacKinnon as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act; (

c) fix and determine the salary of Lewis MacKinnon to be paid at such rate as may be determined from time to time by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier.
