B.C. Reg. 186/2008 , deposited June 27, 2008, pursuant to the INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL ACTIVITY ACT [Sections 2 and 65]. Order in Council 497/2008, approved and ordered June 26, 2008.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the International Financial Activity Regulation, B.C. Reg. 327/2004, is amended as set out in the Schedule, and that

(

a) section 1 of the

Schedule is effective February 20, 2008, and

(

b) section 2 of the

Schedule is effective March 1, 2008.

Schedule

Section 4 of the International Financial Activity Regulation, B.C. Reg. 327/2004, is amended by adding the following subsection:

(7.1) For the purposes of

section 2 (2) (r.1) of the Act , the following are prescribed management services:

(

a) strategic management services provided by the head office of the corporation;

(

b) the following human resource services provided by the head office of the corporation:

(

i) payroll;

(ii) benefits management;

(iii) recruitment and selection;

(iv) training and development.

b) is amended by adding the following items as indicated:
