OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal and the Minister of Health and Wellness dated January 18, 2021, and pursuant to
Section 16 of
Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and pursuant to
Section 77 of
Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act, and in accordance with the Department of Health and Wellness Capital Grants Program, is pleased to approve the making of a grant by the Minister of Health and Wellness on behalf of the Province in an amount not to exceed five million, five hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($5,550,000.00) to cover the cost to procure and install two MRI machines, one at Dartmouth General Hospital and one at South Shore Regional Hospital, the cost of which grant is to be paid on the basis of invoiced costs submitted to the Department of Health and Wellness and charged to Capital Grants, effective on and after February 2, 2021.
