Order in Council 1570/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

WHEREAS by Order in Council numbered 1471/2015, dated the 28 th day of October 2015, David Ross Nichols was appointed as Chief, Emergency Management Ontario effective from October 5, 2015, for a period not exceeding one year from the effective date of his appointment;

AND

WHEREAS David Ross Nichols has agreed to be reappointed as Chief, Emergency Management Ontario;

THEREFORE pursuant to

section 6.1 of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, as amended, David Ross Nichols is hereby reappointed as Chief, Emergency Management Ontario, effective from the 5 th day of October 2016, for a period not exceeding six months from the effective date of this reappointment.
