OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the administration of the Liquor Control Act, dated July 25, 2001, pursuant to subsections 4(1) and 7(1) and 7(5) and 7C(1) of

Chapter 260 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Liquor Control Act, as amended by

Chapter 28 of the Acts of 2000 and by

Chapter 4 of the Acts of 2001 is pleased to: (

a) appoint Kevin McNamara as the Deputy Minister appointed from time to time, pursuant to

Section 7(1)(b); (

b) appoint the following persons as members of the Interim Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation for a term of office of two years commencing July 26, 2001: Greg Beaulieu, Senior Policy Advisor, Department of Tourism and Culture; Vicki Harnish, Executive Officer, Treasury and Policy Board; (

c) appoint the following persons as members of the Interim Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation for a term of office of three years commencing July 26, 2001: Bill Hogg, Deputy Minister, Department of Finance; Doug Keefe, Deputy Minister, Department of Justice; (

d) appoint the following persons as members of the Interim Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation for a term of office of four years commencing July 26, 2001: Michele McKenzie, Deputy Minister, Department of Tourism and Culture; Ed Cramm, Deputy Minister, Department of Community Services; (

e) appoint the following person as a member of the Interim Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation for a term of office of five years commencing July 26, 2001: Christine McCulloch, Director of Solicitor Services, Department of Justice; (

f) appoint Bruce Rogers as a non-voting member and as Acting President of the Interim Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation, commencing July 26, 2001, for the period of time he occupies the position of Acting President; (

g) designate Michele McKenzie, Deputy Minister, Department of Tourism and Culture to be Chair of the Interim Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation for a term of office of four years commencing July 26, 2001.
