OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the administration of the Liquor Control Act dated February 2, 2006 and pursuant to subsections 4(1) and (2); clause 12(

f) and subsections 19(2), (3) and (4) of

Chapter 260 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Liquor Control Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve the terms of sale of the portion of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation property at Shelburne on which is located a Black Heritage Memorial (the "Black Heritage Memorial Site"), set out in the agreement in

Schedule "C" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation, as agent of Her Majesty in Right of the Province, to sell and convey the Black Heritage Memorial Site for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province; and (

c) authorize the President and another office of the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation to sign the deed of transfer and authorize the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation to authorize a single person to sign other documents necessary to complete the closing of the transaction.
