OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 5, 2026, and pursuant to clause 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources: (

a) acquiring land totalling approximately 255 acres (103 hectares) that is located at Gibraltar Lake, Halifax County, currently identified as PID 40585549 being shown outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, from Bradley Douglas Gilroy or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators or approved successors or assigns for the purchase price of $408,000.00 (plus HST, as applicable), subject to the condition that Bradley Douglas Gilroy or their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators or approved successors or assigns are able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
