CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Personal Property Security Act (Assented to May 19, 1981) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Personal Property Security Amendment Act, 1981. 1979-80, c.P-6.1

section amended Clause 72(1)(

a) of The Personal Property Security Act is repealed and the following substituted: “prior security interest” “(a) ‘prior security interest’ means an interest created, re served or provided for by a security agreement or other trans action validly created or entered into, before this

section comes into force, that is a security interest within the meaning of this Act and to which this Act would have applied if it had been in force at the time the security agreement or other transaction was created or entered into”. Coming into force This Act comes into force on the day of assent but is retroactive and is deemed to have been in force on and from May 1, 1981.
