Prorated Registration Fees for Inter-jurisdictional Commercial Trucks Regulations

made under subsection 302(1) of the

Motor Vehicle Act

Commercial Trucks Regulations .

1A The unused portion of any registration fee for a vehicle registered under the International

Registration Plan may be applied against a liability for fees incurred as a result of additions

to vehicle fleets or replacement of vehicles within the vehicle fleets during a registration

year, but may not be carried forward to subsequent registration years.

2 Fees are to be paid as set out in the regulations respecting documents and services fees for

the following services:

(

a) issue, re-issue or renewal of a prorated registration permit or cab card;

3 The registration fee for a vehicle registered under the International Registration Plan is set

out in Table A opposite the weight range within which the vehicle falls.

4 The registration fee for a vehicle added to a vehicle fleet during the registration year for

that vehicle fleet is 1/12 of the annual fee set out in Table A opposite the weight range

within which the vehicle falls, multiplied by the number of months remaining in the

registration period, plus 10% of the annual fee.
