An Act to Amend the Clean Water Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, en- acts as follows: 1 The Clean Water Act,

chapter C-6.1 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1989, is amended by adding af- ter

section 14.1 the following: 14.11(1) The Minister may delegate to an appro- priate municipal employee the Minister’s authority to grant or refuse exemptions under subsection 14.1(2) for exemption requests made under subsec- tion 14.1(1). 14.11(2) A delegation under subsection (1) shall be in writing. 14.11(3) In a delegation under this

section the Minister shall (

a) establish the manner in which the delegate is to exercise the delegated authority, and (

b) impose on the delegate any limitations, terms, conditions and requirements that the Min- ister considers appropriate. PROJET DE LOI Loi modifiant la

Loi sur l’assainissement de l’eau,

chapitre C-6.1 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 1989, est modifiée par l’adjonction, après l’article 14.1, de ce qui suit : 14.11(1) Le Ministre peut déléguer à un employé municipal approprié son autorité qui lui permet d’accorder ou de refuser une exemption en vertu du paragraphe 14.1(2) pour les demandes d’exemption faites en vertu du paragraphe 14.1(1). 14.11(2) Une délégation prévue au paragraphe (1) doit être faite par écrit. 14.11(3) Dans une délégation prévue au présent article, le Ministre doit,

a) établir la manière selon laquelle le délégué doit exercer l’autorité déléguée, et

b) imposer au délégué les restrictions, modali- tés, conditions et exigences qu’il estime appro- priées. 2 Projet de loi Loi modifiant la

section shall exer- cise the delegated authority in the manner estab- lished in, and in accordance with any limitations, terms, conditions and requirements imposed in the delegation. 14.11(4) Un délégué en vertu du présent
