OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Elections Act dated May 27, 2020, and on the recommendation of the Chief Electoral Officer pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 5 of the Acts of 2011, the Elections Act , and Sections 33 and 34 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act , is pleased to, effective on and after April 1, 2019: (

a) repeal clause (

b) of the Order in Council 2012-400 made by Governor in Council dated December 21, 2012 and effective January 14, 2013, and replace it with the following clauses: (

b) direct that the salary of Peter C. Gzowski as Assistant Chief Electoral Officer be established as the rate of compensation for a level fifteen excluded classification employee (EC 15) as set out in the Excluded Classification Pay Plan approved by Governor in Council in Order in Council 2019-118 dated April 9, 2019, and (

c) direct that Peter C. Gzowski be provided with adjustments to his rate of compensation equal to the rate of compensation for EC 15 employees approved by Governor in Council in the Excluded Classification Pay Plan after April 1, 2019 and that be subject to all other benefits and compensation applicable to excluded classification civil servants, and subject to all applicable enactments.
