OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated February 2, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act ,

Section 5 of

Chapter 159 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Family Court Act , and

Section 19 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to appoint and designate Judge Shane Russell and Judge Ronda van der Hoek as Associate Chief Judges of the Provincial and Family Courts, each for a term of office of three (3) years effective February 22, 2024.
