OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated August 14, 2019, and pursuant to
Section 45 of
Chapter 240 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Judicature Act , is pleased, effective on and after October 1, 2019, to: a. repeal the Value of Chattels Exempt from Seizure Regulations , N.S. Reg. 112/1985, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 85-715 dated July 2, 1985; and b. make new regulations respecting the value of chattels exempt from seizure in the form set forth in
Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
