OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries dated November 24, 2003, pursuant to Sections 7 and 8 of

Chapter 7 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Agriculture and Rural Credit Act, and Sections 10 and 13 of the Nova Scotia Farm Loan Board Regulations made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 92-1162 dated December 1, 1992, is pleased to: (

a) approve the granting of an additional loan of $1,040,000 plus accruals and $1,200 processing fee to Bekkers Farms Incorporated of R.R.#4 Antigonish, Antigonish County, to assist in the purchase of farm assets of Frank A. Maas, to refinance a term loan used to purchase additional Total Production Quota and to recapture the improvements made to dairy barns under the terms and conditions described in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) determine the rate of interest to be charged on this loan to be 6.30%.
